Metrea Ltd - An Overview
Metrea is based in the Cultural Industries Quarter of Sheffield and is directed by Robert Prior. Our premises are located in the Cooper Buildings on Arundel Street which (home of Sheffield Technology Park) and this gives us incredible access to small and medium sized organisations who we can partner with whenever the need arises and it is in the best interests of our clients. Although we are based in Sheffield our clients are located across the UK and we also have a number of important clients in Toronto, Canada.
Our office and training facility is less than 200m from the railway station and trains to London St. Pancras run as often as every 30 minutes during the day with a journey time of as little as 2 hours and 7 minutes from East Midlands Trains. On Cross Country trains we can directly reach Leeds, York, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen to the north along with Derby, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter and Plymouth to the south. We are less than an hour from Manchester to our west with Liverpool only another 30 minutes further away.
We try and offer value for money at all times for the consultancy and training services we provide. Standard class rail fares are purchased where possible in advance to ensure every client irrespective of their size is assurred maximum value for money thanks to us keeping expenses to a minimum. We also offer organisations booking on-site training courses the option of reducing costs by providing one book for every two delegates on the course rather than our normal one book per delegate.
Career Opportunities
Metrea is a small and highly focussed entity. We do not have any vacancies at present as when the need arises we employ and partner with specialists in particular fields. If you represent an organisation that you believe could partner with Metrea to enhance the services we offer then please feel free to call and outline your offering.
Charitable Giving
Metrea has supported a number of charities already in 2009 having sponsored a number of clients and associates who have completed the Flora London Marathon and the Sheffield Half Marathon. For the remainder of 2009 our charitable giving will focus on helping to raise funds for the 'Merlin Theatre Appeal' which is part of Ruskin Mill Educational Trust helping young people in this region with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
