20/02/08, Sheffield - Robert Prior to Speak at South Yorkshire CIM Event
Robert Prior will speak in Room 1028 of the Owen Building at Sheffield Hallam University on 23rd April 2008. The presentation will start at 6.30pm and there will be a networking buffet for all attendees from 5.45pm.
The presentation is on "Understanding your website statistics and making search engines work for you" and is open to both members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing who can attend for free and to non members who will be charged a £25 fee for attending the presentation and the pre-presentation networking event.
The presentation will outline how web analytics can help organisations to monitor the journey people take to and through their web site. Rob's advice will help marketers who are looking for tactics to secure high natural rankings for pages in their site rather than looking to spend vast sums on Pay Per Click advertising campaigns. This is particularly relevant given that the recent findings from iProspect show that 60.5% of surfers picked natural search results as 'most relevant' and that the number increases to 72.3% with dedicated Google users.
