Metrea Ltd was founded by Robert Prior & Jerry Lampson and incorporated as a Limited Company in January 2007 (Company Number 06069726).
We try to have an open, practicle and flexible approach that suits our clients and helps us to provide impressive results from realistic but affordable budgets. We concentrate on consultancy & training related activities and work in partnership with others organisations to ensure clients maximise their Return on Investment.
Although Metrea operates from offices in the centre of Sheffield, we have numerous clients located elsewhere [including Rotherham, Chesterfield, Leeds, Lincoln, Coventry, London & Toronto]. We are always delighted to talk to organisations of all sizes from different sectors who are keen to learn more about Search Engine Optimisation, Web Analytics and marketing best-practice on the internet.
Robert Prior - Profile
Born in April 1968, Robert was educated at Rugby School before studying for a BA Honours in Religious Studies at St. David's University College, Wales. Robert subsequently attended the Business School at Sheffield Hallam gaining a post-graduate certificate in marketing along with a diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Robert worked in the early 1990s at Quad Microtech and Rotherham ChamberTEC before founding The Million Company Ltd in 1996 to help numerous clients, including Nikken Kosakusho, with their marketing, communications & web requirements.
In early 2001 Robert & his wife [Joanne] relocated to Toronto, Canada. Robert was employed as a consultant for a number of organisations in the Greater Toronto Area. He built a number of lasting business relationships in Toronto that continue today and was able to fulfil his dream of playing ice hockey to a high recreational standard with his Fiery-Devils team winning the C Division league title on two occasions in 2003 and 2004 and the Co-Ed title in 2005.
Returning to the UK in 2006, Robert was fortunate to work with Jerry Lampson again at QR8 Ltd and together they launched Metrea Ltd in January 2007.
Robert is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has previously served as the Chairman of the South Yorkshire Branch. In April 2008 Robert who is a member of the Web Analytics Association is addressing CIM members on the importance of web analytics and the impact they have when companies begin to think about issues surrounding SEO.
